Rockstadt Extreme Fest 2023
Rockstadt Extreme Fest 2023 spanned an impressive five days, from August 2 to August 6, marking its ninth edition. This extended duration allowed for a diverse lineup of over 60 bands, giving attendees ample opportunity to experience a wide array of metal genres and performances.
Year after year, Rockstadt Extreme Fest continues to expand, both in terms of its lineup and its infrastructure. The festival's organization was commendable, with efficient logistics that ensured smooth transitions between performances on the three stages. The smallest stage, Andrei Calmuc stage, hosted notable acts like Legion of the Damned, Soulfly, Triptykon, Marduk, Abbath, Impaled Nazarene, Discharge or Immolation, while the main stages (Adrian Rugină stage and Brașov stage) saw stellar headlining performances from bands such as Sacred Reich, Architects, Meshuggah, Hypocrisy, Amorphis, Obituary, Alestorm, Epica, Arch Enemy, to name a few.
The growth of Rockstadt Extreme Fest is not only evident in the scale of the event but also in the diversity of its offerings.
