BESIEGED 's new album 'Violence Beyond All Reason' is out today
With their new album 'Violence Beyond All Reason', released today, June 6th, 2022, thrash/death metallers from BESIEGED aim to prove that they are still relevant in the metal scene despite being almost 20 years into their career. The album features 7 tracks ranging from frenzied thrash to bone-crushing death metal.
Comprising the seven tracks that are loud and fast, yet challenging in their arrangements, 'Violence Beyond All Reason' harnesses all that is best about thrash metal as if it were a radioactive fuel source powering a death/thrash engine so impossibly powerful it could rip through reality itself.
Here is a single from the album, called 'Testaments':
The extreme violence, devastating riffs, and at times chaotic drumming combine in a perfect storm of carnage. The vocals are some of the best I've heard this year, often switching from guttural growls and screams to high-pitched shrieks in the blink of an eye. It's a surprisingly technical album for its style, featuring great guitar solos, harmonies, and more than just your typical blast beats. Despite all that chaos and intensity, BESIEGED managed to showcase its own unique groove to give every song just enough time to breathe and build before continuing on as if nothing happened.
