LAMB OF GOD returns with venomous new single and lyric video, 'Nevermore'
Returning with their new studio album, LAMB OF GOD, the iconic Richmond, Virginia based band, is poised to deliver their most powerfully urgent and infectious collection of songs on. October 7th is coming, the day that LAMB OF GOD is set to release their album, 'Omens' via Epic Records.
In a genre that is typically dense, heavy and beastly, LAMB OF GOD vocalist Randy Blythe is out to prove with “Omens” that the math does not always have to add up. Satisfying both ends of the spectrum between the brutal and the beautiful, “Omens” succeeds in proving that heaviness can be more than mindless noise.
Vocalist Randall Blythe explains:
The world is crazy and keeps changing. ‘Omens’ is a reaction to the state of the world. It’s a very pissed-off record. It is extremely pissed off.
The video premiered today and can be seen below:
“Omens” is also LAMB OF GOD’s most diverse affair. The band tracked with longtime collaborator Josh Wilbur (KORN, MEGADETH) live in the room together at Henson Recording Studios (formerly A&M Studios) in Los Angeles, California, a location that birthed classics from THE DOORS, PINK FLOYD, RAMONES and SOUNDGARDEN, among others.
