MÅNEGARM reveal third single "Stridsgalten" feat. Jonne Järvelä, Robse Dahn & Pär Hulkhoff
MåNEGARM is thrilled to reveal the third single, “Stridsgalten”, from their last album, "Ynglingaättens Öde". This song features members of the Finnish folk metal band Korpiklaani, the German epic folk metal band Equilibrium, and the Swedish industrial metal band Raubtier. The single is the perfect example of Månegarm's potent blend of epic folk elements, versatile tempos, and punishing guitar riffs.
On Ynglingaättens Öde (The Fate of the Ynglings), released on 15th April 2022 via Napalm Records, Månegarm continues to forge a path of their own. From melodic folk metal with viking/black elements, this new record sees them once again pushing the boundaries of genre-defying music.
Since the year of its debut (1996), Månegarm has made a long way. Thanks to their highly acclaimed full-length albums, the band from Norrtälje, Stockholm has managed to position itself among the most interesting frontrunners of today's folk metal scene. Månegarm fills the gap between genres by creating music that blends an almost volcanic tension with a fiery variety of different folk instruments, such as accordions and violins. Since their foundation in 2001, they have established themselves as one of the world's most prominent folk metal acts.
