NUMENTO reveal their new haunting single 'Scarlet Haze'

Finnish progressive metal band NUMENTO continues to push forward, blending screaming guitars with powerful vocals, building symphonies of sound. The band has revealed their second song from the new album, due to be published later this year. The band's sound is a result of mixing up different genres. Melodic metal, prog, thrash, and symphonic elements work in unison to create a powerful whole.
The second single is titled 'Scarlet Haze' and has a dark, raw vibe that weaves in and out of uncomfortable rhythms and piercing tones. It starts off with soft, melodic vocals that are soon accompanied by heavy riffs and followed by harsh vocals.

The band comments about the song:
“Scarlet Haze” is one of the first songs composed for the upcoming album. Being a bit different Numento song in terms of atmosphere and lyrics, it tells a story about suffocating and draining relationships.
The lyrics were originally written for another song we made almost 10 years ago that was never published.
Thus, the story got another opportunity to be reincarnated with this passionate, highly melodic and a bit melancholic track with a lot of contrasts, as often in Numento music.
