ONHEIL unleashes savage fury in new 'Bloodthirst' video

The Dutch Blackened Death Metal maestros, ONHEIL, have just released their explosive new single and video, 'Bloodthirst'. The track is a part of their upcoming album 'In Black Ashes', which is set to release on June 23, 2023, under the Swedish label Black Lion Records.
ONHEIL is not just releasing an album; they're making it an event. On the same day as the album release, the band will be playing a special live show at Bibelot in Dordrecht, Netherlands. They'll be sharing the stage with Viking Black/Death Metal band Fenris and Melodic Black/Death Metal band Mask Of Insanity.
What's even more exciting is that 'Bloodthirst' is accompanied by an animated video. The video incorporates various pieces of artwork that hint at the song's theme and context.
The frontman and guitarist of ONHEIL, Amok, described 'Bloodthirst' as a Blackened Death Metal track that aims to capture the sensation of the primal aggressive tendencies that humanity can’t shed, coupled with the horror and sadness that follow. He characterizes the song as partly furious and lethal, partly depressive and damned. He also ominously declares, 'I am the warlord...of damnation! I believe this introductory phrase says it all!'.
'In Black Ashes' marks ONHEIL’s third full-length album. It has been mixed and mastered by legendary producer Dan Swanö at Unisound Studios. The vocals and drums were recorded by Jonathan Merrelaar at Red Pack Studios, while Bart Hennephof assisted with the guitar recordings at Creative Music Lab.
ONHEIL also collaborated with artist Lordigan Pedro Seno for the single and album's artwork. Lordigan has previously worked with heavyweights such as Amon Amarth, Kreator, Decapitated, and Matt Heafy (Trivium). The video animation was created by Cloud Music Typography, which has an impressive portfolio, including work for Arch Enemy, The Haunted, Mayhem, Napalm Death, Naglfar, Dark Fortress, and Archspire.
