PSYCHOSTICK has released its latest album, "…And Stuff"
Blending Metal, Hardcore or Ramones-esque Punk (with the occasional dose of balladry), Psychostick has long been the darling of the underground scene and a favorite among metalheads who don’t mind laughing at what they love. While the band’s songs are serious, the members themselves often joke around, mocking metal’s seriousness and themselves. Their music could be described as heavy metal or comedy and one might not know it until they see them live.
Released via Rock Ridge Music, Psychostick’s "...And Stuff" is a collection of B-Sides and rarities spanning the short career label life, with a couple of experiments that aren't found on any other album. The release consists of mashups / covers / parodies and originals. For example – a Sepultura styled cover of the Ray Parker Jr 1984 hit theme song for Ghostbusters, and a metal cover of the iconic Monty Python classic, "Galaxy Song" just for starters.
