WARHYMN unveils 'Occult Fire' EP with new tracks

WARHYMN, a black metal band from Bucharest, Romania, has announced their latest project, the 'Occult Fire' EP. This release follows their 2022 EP 'Cult of Primordials' and includes three tracks, showcasing a mix of new material and reimagined versions of songs from their debut 'Gnosis'. The band expressed pride in this upcoming release, noting that it will be available on the Loud Rage Music Bandcamp and all streaming platforms in early July.
The EP's lead single, also titled 'Occult Fire', will feature in WARHYMN's next full-length album. The additional two tracks are re-recorded versions from 'Gnosis', enhanced to fit the thematic and sonic ambitions of WARHYMN's evolving sound. The artwork, inspired by Gustave Dore’s illustrations for 'Paradise Lost', has been darkly reinterpreted to align with the EP's themes.
This new release was mixed and mastered by Andrei Alexandru Bogdan at Grand Way Studios, where the band reported a fruitful collaboration. These songs not only preview the sonic direction for their upcoming full-length album planned for late 2025 but also serve as a production test for what WARHYMN describes as their most ambitious material to date.
