In an explosive display of sonic ferocity, WEREWOLVES have released their new single and lyric video, 'My Enemies Look and Sound Like Me'. As a harbinger of what's to come, the track exemplifies the raw intensity and violence that the Australian death metal trio is renowned for. The single is also the title track for their upcoming album set to be released on August 11th via Prosthetic Records. In addition to this, WEREWOLVES have announced their participation in Tech Trek Australia, alongside Archspire and Ingested.
Speaking about the single, bassist/vocalist Sam commented, “As far as we’re concerned, death metal is for one thing and one thing only: a barrage of horrific screaming blastbeats conveyed with maximum violence. 'My Enemies Look And Sound Like Me' – the track, the album – is the pinnacle expression of that. F*** leads. F*** melody. F*** you.” The album promises an unrelenting journey through the depths of death metal with tracks like 'Under The Ground' and 'Destroyer Of Worlds'.
