Hard Rock Bands
The blues bent out of shape by British bands with louder amplifiers than sense, somewhere between 1968 and 1970. No growls, no blast beats, just the riff, the chorus and a singer who can carry a room the size of an aircraft hangar. Metal came out of here and never entirely left.
