200 Stab Wounds have released Sweet Suicide, the second song from Lowest Form, which Metal Blade put out on 19 February.

It is the third track. Pangs of Conscience, the opener, came in September with the album announcement, so the band are walking down the running order rather than scattering the singles, which is the second time this week a band has done that and it keeps being a better idea than the alternative.

Eight tracks in total, their third album after Slave to the Scalpel in 2021 and Manual Manic Procedures in 2024. They went into the studio in April.

Seven years out of Cleveland and the touring has been relentless: North America and Europe repeatedly, with Dying Fetus, Gatecreeper and Cattle Decapitation. That is how a band this plainly uncommercial ends up on a bill people queue for.

Metal Blade have had them since the second record, and a February date drops the album into the quiet stretch after the New Year, where a death metal release gets room to be heard.
