A Forest of Stars have announced four shows in continental Europe for December 2026, in support of their sixth album, Stack Overflow in Corpse Pile Interface. Nemorous, the UK band formed out of the aftermath of Wodensthrone, are on the bill.
The run opens with a headline show at d'Bs in Utrecht on 3 December, then takes in three festivals: ORWOhaus in Berlin on the 4th for De Mortem et Diabolum, Sputnikhalle in Munster on the 5th for Wintermelodei, and Gentse Gruut Brouwerij in Ghent on the 6th for Gruut Lawijt. Four UK shows come first, in Glasgow on 26 November, Newcastle on the 27th, Nottingham on the 28th and Manchester on the 29th.
Keyboardist The Gentleman was clear that the band wanted more. "We are rather more than excited to finally be making our way back to the European Union for a brief set of shows this December," he said, adding that further continental dates were not possible this year and that the band would compensate by "playing our socks off and our hearts out".
The album came out on 8 May through Prophecy Productions, six tracks, eight years after Grave Mounds and Grave Mistakes. Four shows is a short cycle for a record that waited that long.
