Aborym will play Metachaos live on Saturday 23 January 2027 at the Slaughter Club in Paderno Dugnano. It is the album presentation and, for now, the only date attached to the record.
Insubrian Black Metal is putting it on with the DNR Music Agency. Avantgarde Music released the album, which came after five years without one.
A single show for an album is not unusual for this band. Aborym have spent close to three decades as one of the few Italian groups who got to industrial black metal early and stayed there, and the live side has always been intermittent rather than a touring operation. Metal Hammer Italia calls the announcement a return to the stage, which is accurate rather than promotional.
The Slaughter Club sits in the northern suburbs of Milan and has been a fixture of the Italian underground for years, the kind of room this bill belongs in. One night, one album, and no second date announced beside it.
