Abyssic have signed to Soulseller Records, which will release Trollsyn, their fourth album, in early 2027.
The band formed in Haslum, outside Oslo, in 1997, and then took nineteen years to release anything: A Winter's Tale came in 2016, High the Memory in 2019 and Brought Forth in Iniquity in 2022. What they play is symphonic doom and death, slow and orchestrated rather than merely heavy.
No date beyond early 2027 came with the announcement.
