Twelve songs, every title in French, from the opener that shares the album's name to Perdition at the end. Nom de Code : ADX sits second, Les Neuf de Senlis fifth, Bellatores tenth. The band has Le règne des écorcheurs, the third track, out as official audio on its own channel.
It is the fourteenth album and the first since L'empire du crépuscule in 2024. ADX formed in Paris in 1982 and were part of the small French speed metal wave that never crossed the Channel in the way the British one crossed everywhere else. Phil Grélaud has sung and Didier Bouchard has drummed since the start, both of them through two breaks; Neo joined on guitar in 2019, Fred Allanic and Jules Brosset in 2023.
