Aegror have put out a lyric video from Reign of Disease, the album they released by themselves in 2025 and that Wormholedeath will reissue on 8 January with Metamorphosis added.

Everything this band do sits inside what they call the Plaguebreeder Universe, a fiction they have been building since forming in Kerken in 2009. The album describes an interdimensional entity spreading through disease and fear. The song is one person's part in it: a man who tortures and experiments on damaged minds to turn them into obedient soldiers for a greater power, and who loses control of what he built.

A label picking up a self released record a year later is a vote with money behind it, and it is how most German black metal of this size ends up heard outside its own country.

The music is atmospheric black metal with progressive structures and long melodic stretches, which gives the storytelling room it would not have at a constant sprint.

Narthaas, who founded the band and sings, and the guitarist Abyssus are the creative core after a run of line-up changes.
