Aether Realm have released "The Blood Is Calling", with an animated video, from Season of Bloodshed, the album Napalm Records puts out on 11 December.
The band describe where it came from without softening it: "This is an album born from an anger that was allowed to fester for too long. At the confluence of the great injustices of our time and the insignificant wrongs that get under our skin every day, we can find ourselves transformed into our worst selves."
They come from Greenville, North Carolina, and have played melodic death metal with folk in it since 2010, through One Chosen by the Gods in 2013 and Tarot in 2017. Jake Jones plays bass and sings, Heinrich Arnold and Chris Jones play guitars, Tyler Gresham drums.
