All Shall Perish have released Led To Slaughter, the second new song from the album they are funding themselves. They had promised it if the campaign passed its target, and it has.
The target was $75,000, set to finish their first studio record since This Is Where It Ends in 2011. The campaign opened earlier this month with no label behind it and a public budget. Be As Kings, Be As Gods, their first new single in fifteen years, came out while it was running. Led To Slaughter is the reward for clearing the number.
The band put it in their own register. “YALL DONE FKED AROUND AND FUNDED A NEW ALL SHALL PERISH RECORD,” they wrote, and then the line that is actually the story: “YOU THE LABEL NOW. We have sold our souls to you guys and it feels so good.” They also said the hard part now is condensing what they have into one album.
The four who came back in 2024 are the ones who made the records: Eddie Hermida on vocals, Ben Orum and Chris Storey on guitars and Matt Kuykendall on drums, all of them in and out of the band since the early 2000s. Hermida has also sung in Suicide Silence since 2013.
