Amthrÿa release Onnen on 11 October through Ad Noctem Records, their fourth album and the first since Passage in 2022.
The band have been split between Italy and Switzerland since 2007, which is why the encyclopaedia files them as international rather than as either. The tracklist runs Chinmoku no Jinja, Jusō, Shudan Bōrei, Crawling Grudge, Shin'en, Void's Undertow, Lay of Ruin, Onnen and Onnen no Ōkotoba, half of it in Japanese, the rest not, with no attempt to reconcile the two.
Shudan Borei came out as a single earlier this year and turns up on the record in its Japanese spelling.
