Angra will play Finland for the first time at Power & Steel, a new indoor power metal festival at the Cable Factory in Helsinki on 5 and 6 November 2027. Tickets are on sale through Lippu.fi and the event is restricted to over eighteens.

The Brazilian band, formed in 1991, are one of eleven acts in the first wave. Tygers of Pan Tang are also playing their first ever show in the country, and the bill continues with Virgin Steele, Fabio Lione's Dawn Of Victory, Seven Spires, Power Paladin and Insania, alongside the Finnish acts Metal De Facto, Dreamtale, Force Majeure and Strider.

More than twenty acts will perform across the two days, so roughly half the line up is still unannounced. The promoter Niko Viherlaiho told Chaoszine the festival started large on purpose. "There has been demand for a power metal festival in Finland for quite some time," he said. "The large Finnish contingent at Denmark's Epic Fest is a good example of that. We didn't want to start small."

Traditional heavy metal sits on the bill beside the power metal, which Viherlaiho said should widen the audience rather than split it. The rest of the names are due over the coming winter.
