Anguish Force have a video for Stairs in the Dark, the sixth track on Atzwang II and the second song from the album to get one after Stones to Destroy. Wanikiya Record put the album out on 20 May, twelve tracks and forty seven minutes.

Atzwang is the historical name of Campodazzo, the village in South Tyrol the band comes from, and the album is the second one built out of its stories. The titles stay inside that geography: The Hidden Inn, Bear Ghost, The Eisack Flood, The Spirit of the Hill, The Arch of the Passage, Don't Count the Crosses, and a closing track named for the band's own Atzwang Metal Fest. A group writing about one valley across two full records has either run out of material or found its subject.

The video keeps the house practice of casting a guest as the victim, this time the Hungarian model Szilvia Szijgyarto. Metal Shock Finland describes the band as traditional heavy metal with speed, power and thrash in it, and lists Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Running Wild, Helloween, Metallica, Slayer and Annihilator among the influences.

Metal Shock Finland dates the band to 1995. Metal Archives files 1995 to 2003 under the name Anguish and the years since as Anguish Force, which is the same three decades counted twice over. LGD has been on guitars throughout, with Desmo on vocals, Luck Az on second guitar, Pemmel on drums and Masca, who joined this year, on bass. A live album was recorded over the summer.
