Elder, Russian Circles and Brutus have been added to ArcTanGent 2027, which runs from 19 to 21 August with an early day on the 18th.
Russian Circles and Brutus co-headline the Wednesday, both back at this festival for the first time since 2023. They join Neurosis and Blood Incantation at the top of the bill, with The Ocean, Slift, Holy Fawn, Mol and Employed To Serve already announced.
What this wave shows is how the festival is built. SubRosa and Kong both come back after reuniting, Future Of The Left play Curses for its twentieth birthday and Employed To Serve play The Warmth Of A Dying Sun for its tenth. Four of the new names are there because of a date on a calendar rather than a record to sell, which is a programming habit more festivals talk about than practise.
The Wildhearts have a special progressive set, which for that band could mean almost anything.
Elder arrive with the North American dates they rescheduled this week behind them, and more than forty acts came in the same announcement.
