Aronious have released "Exalted Aon", the second song made public from The Ever Living Ones, with a visualizer from The Artisan Era.

The label is the clearest signal of what the record will sound like. The Artisan Era has spent a decade collecting the most technical end of American death metal, the players who treat a fretboard as a problem to be solved, and a band on its roster is working to a standard rather than to a scene.

Green Bay, Wisconsin is an unlikely address for it. The band formed there in 2011 and have made three albums since, which is a steady rate for music this difficult to write and harder to rehearse.

No release date has been named for the album. Two songs is usually the halfway point of a campaign at this level, so the announcement is probably close.

Five releases stand behind it, three of them albums. For a band working in the register where every bar is a different time signature, that is a lot of material to have written and a lot of touring to have never quite done.
