Dan Lauzon, who plays guitar and co-founded Entropy, marked thirty-four years of Ashen Existence by announcing that it is finally getting a vinyl pressing, and that the band's fifth album is half done.
"Thanks to the global metal community online, I am reminded that Ashen Existence was released 34 years ago today. What a ride!" he wrote. "You can take it to the bank that Gerry James and myself certainly believed in ourselves and were ready for world domination. This was released when grunge and The Black Album were all the rage. We did not give any fucks. We went for it, big time."
The Canadians put out technical thrash first and groove metal later, across Ashen Existence in 1992, Transcendence in 1995, then a seventeen-year gap to E³ in 2012 and Force Convergence in 2020.
