Atheist have been added to the 2027 line-up of 70000 Tons Of Metal, the metal cruise, along with Firtan and Fires In The Distance. Metal Underground reports that one of Atheist's two sets will be Unquestionable Presence performed in full, to mark the album's thirty fifth anniversary.

Unquestionable Presence came out in 1991 and is the record most of the technical death metal written since has been measured against. Atheist formed in Sarasota in 1987, Kelly Shaefer has sung in the band from the start, and Steve Flynn has played drums on and off since then.

Fires In The Distance were announced earlier and we wrote about it then: the doom band board the same cruise. Firtan, from Germany, released Helios this year.
