Azels Mountain will play their first South American shows in March 2027: three nights in Colombia, in Bogota, Armenia and Ibague. The announcement came with a video for Piesn Wrony, from their third album.

Three shows on another continent is not a tour, it is a bridgehead, and for a Polish black metal band on Pagan Records it is also the clearest sign of where the audience for this music has moved. Colombia has carried extreme metal for forty years with almost none of it ever arriving from Poland.

The record behind it, Echa Krwi, came out earlier this year and goes further into memory, blood, sacrifice and transcendence than the two before it. What keeps it from being generic is where the band looks for material: Polish classical music, Polish literature and the spiritual atmosphere of the country's own artistic tradition, under an underground black metal foundation they have not abandoned.

The video was made by Zacma Visual Studio, which wrote, directed and produced the whole thing, and the song is sung in Polish, which is the part that makes the Colombian booking interesting rather than ordinary.
