Blasphemaniac have premiered a second song from Ataque Diabolico a Sacralidade Brasileira, which Adirondack Black Mass release on 25 November.

When the band list what they are made of, the Brazilian names come first: Vulcano and Sarcofago, then Sodom, Kreator, Venom, Hellhammer and Bathory. That order is the point. The first wave of Brazilian extreme metal is usually treated as a response to the European one, and a band from Atibaia putting it the other way round is making an argument rather than listing influences.

Ten songs, black and death and thrash and speed all in the same record, and a recording that chases the roughness and physical push of analogue tape rather than hiding it.

The lyrics run in English and Portuguese, and the occult material comes through a South American lens, drawing on ancestral belief and syncretic tradition rather than on the standard inverted iconography. It is the band's first full length since 2021, after a run of splits and singles.
