Blaze Bayley played a set billed as an Iron Maiden anniversary on 22 October at The Brickmakers in Norwich, and the whole concert is online, filmed from the crowd.

He fronted Iron Maiden from 1994 to 1999, two albums, and it remains the most argued over period in the band's history. His own answer to that argument has been to keep playing the songs, in rooms the size of The Brickmakers, for longer now than he was ever in the band.

The night opened with "Doctor Doctor" over the speakers, which is what Iron Maiden walk on to, and the gesture is the point of the evening rather than a borrowed one.

It is a fan recording rather than a professional one, which suits it. A pub in Norwich with a singer working through material that stadiums once carried is the kind of thing that only exists because somebody in the room had a phone.
