Blood Thirsty Demons have put out a lyric film for "God Of The Witches", from Equilibrium, which arrives on 31 October through C.M. Releases.
It is the tenth album from the Italian project led by Cristian Mustaine, and the second half of a pair. Esoteric came first, and this one continues the same subject, which the label describes as his own spirituality and his reading of esotericism.
Releasing it on 31 October is not subtle and is not meant to be. A record about witchcraft and the occult, with a single called "God Of The Witches", going out on Halloween is a band collecting on the one day of the year when the subject matter sells itself.
Ten albums into a nineteen release catalogue, this is a project that has never stopped working and has never left Italy by much. Thrash metal is the label Metal Archives gives it, though a decade of records about esotericism suggests the subject matter has travelled further than the genre.
