Bloodbath play seven shows in Australia next year, their first there since 2019, with NervoChaos on every date.
It opens at Perth Dethfest in the Rosemount Hotel on 27 February and closes at Melbourne Dethfest in The Croxton on 7 March, with a festival bookending each side of the run. Between them: Lion Arts Factory in Adelaide on the 28th, the Altar Bar in Hobart on 2 March, Crowbar in Brisbane on the 4th, Crowbar in Sydney on the 5th and The Baso in Canberra on the 6th.
Your Mate Bookings confirmed the itinerary. Seven years is a long gap for a band that can fill rooms this size anywhere, and Australia has spent most of that time watching European death metal bands skip it entirely.
NervoChaos come from São Paulo and have been going since the nineties, which makes this a bill of two bands with nothing left to prove and a long flight each. Bloodbath formed in 1998 as a side project and have outlasted most of the bands their members came from.
