Breeding Chaos have put out Cradle of New Suns, the first song from an album Great Dane Records releases on 18 December.
It follows Distant Planets, the 2024 debut, which the French band built around astrophysics and interstellar phenomena and played with large riffs and deliberately controlled dynamics rather than speed. The reference points they offer for themselves are the melodic discipline of Dark Tranquillity and In Flames and the rhythmic precision of Textures, with something darker underneath.
Before the debut there was the Diffraction Matters EP in 2023.
