Brujeria will play seven headlining shows on the Iberian peninsula next month, five in Spain and two in Portugal.
It sits oddly close to the run already announced: sixteen European cities in March, which is the proper tour. Seven dates in November, four months earlier and in two countries only, reads as a band taking what a promoter offered rather than a leg of anything.
Spain and Portugal have always been the strongest market in Europe for a band who sing in Spanish and built their whole identity on a border, which makes the choice of territory the least surprising part of the announcement. The band have played both countries on nearly every European visit they have made.
The dates themselves have been published only on a flyer, with no venues listed in the announcement text, which is the usual shape of a run booked late. Whether the March tour reaches the same two countries again has not been said.
