Bulletbelt have written and recorded the theme song for Deathgasm 2, the sequel to the horror comedy they also contributed to the first time round. Decibel Magazine premiered the video, directed by Alex Hargreaves.

The film's writer and director, Jason Howden, said he was adamant the band had to come back for the theme, and that they "knocked it out of the park yet again". The premise of the films has not got any more sober: a metalhead raises his bandmates from the dead to enter a battle of the bands.

Drummer Steve Francis, who founded the band, said the Deathgasm films are a large part of their history and that the new song had to be epic and cinematic. He also says there is a tie to the original song hidden in it for anyone listening closely.

Decibel described the result as a step away from the punk-tinged blackened speed metal of the first film towards something closer to power metal, and carried off with enough swagger not to tip into parody.
