Burning Creation have dated Breath of Fire for 13 November through Via Nocturna and opened it with "Nothing's Gonna Save You" and a lyric video. It is a second album, seven songs plus an introduction.

The band started in melodic death and viking metal and are moving away from both. What they describe is a harder, rawer record built on the Swedish death metal tradition, with Unleashed, Dark Tranquillity and Hypocrisy named as the reference points and the melodic parts demoted to accents rather than structure.

The story carries over from the debut. Sea of Dead Bodies introduced the Undead Nation, and Breath of Fire marches it towards a final assault on a civilisation that has given up its old beliefs. Vidar and Fenrir, the underwater hall of Aegir and Ran, and a cold destination for everyone who failed to die in battle all appear.

Jaroslaw and Marek Klimonda started the band in 2022 after Haures stopped, put out the Never Dead Nation EP in 2023 and the debut in 2024. Drums and bass went down at Sound Stone Studio with Pawel Kurowski, guitars and vocals at Marek Stefaniak's place, and Stefaniak mixed. Damian Bydlinski painted the cover.
