Cancer Bats will play nine dates in Australia in early 2027, opening in Perth at Amplifier on 28 January and closing on the Sunshine Coast at the Kings Beach Tavern on 7 February. Heriot are on all of them except Perth. General tickets go on sale on 14 October.
The run is built around Froth and Fury Festival in Adelaide on 30 January, with the club dates arranged either side of it, which is the standard way a band from the northern hemisphere makes an Australian tour pay for itself.
Behind the kit there is a change. Ian Ski Romano of Pig Pen takes over live drumming duties from Mike Peters, who stopped touring at the end of September after twenty five years. These are the first dates announced that fall on the other side of that.
The itinerary in full: 28 January Perth at Amplifier, 30 January Adelaide at Froth and Fury Festival, 31 January Melbourne at the Corner Hotel, 2 February Wollongong at La La Las, 3 February Sydney at Crowbar, 4 February Newcastle at the Hamilton Station Hotel, 5 February Byron Bay at the Arts Factory, 6 February Brisbane at Crowbar, 7 February Sunshine Coast at the Kings Beach Tavern.
