Cardinals Folly have released a video for the title track of Let the Posers Fall!, which Cruz Del Sur Music put out on 9 October. It is the Finnish band's seventh album and their first since Live by the Sword in 2023.
Ten tracks: House of the Lords as an intro, then Hitch-Hike, Let The Posers Fall!, New York Ripper, I Am The Zodiac, Luchador, Your Stallions Are Burning, Cultist Highway, Chiusura Invernale and Providence. The titles do a lot of the work in advertising what this is, which is doom metal played with the bar room edge of the early eighties rather than the funeral kind.
Cardinals Folly formed in 2007 and Count Karnstein has played bass and sung in them for the whole nineteen years, through seven different guitarists. Tuomo Kosonen took the guitar seat in 2024.
