Catalyst Crime have a date for Acquired Immunity: Massacre Records release the album on 4 December. It is their second full length and the first since the self titled record in 2021.

What has been out until now is the singles. The title track went out earlier in the year and "Polaris", with Chris Harms of Lord of the Lost on it, came with a video this week. Metal Archives lists both as separate singles and the album itself as a December release on Massacre, which is the clean version of a release schedule that has been easy to read wrongly from the outside.

The band are spread across Germany, the United States and Canada and have never worked in one room as a matter of routine, which is part of why the record has taken the shape it has: eleven songs assembled across time zones, with Zoe Marie Federoff writing the words and singing them.

Five years between albums is a long time for a band this size. December is where it lands.
