Cathedral have a reissue coming on 30 October. The Guessing Game, the double album Nuclear Blast put out on 26 March 2010, comes back through Rise Above Records in a remixed version, and the remix comes with a new name: The Guessing Game (Rethink).

The thirteen tracks are the same thirteen, an hour and twenty five minutes of them, with seven past the six minute mark and Journeys into Jade closing at ten and a half. Two of the titles say what kind of record it was. Cats, Incense, Candles and Wine is one. La noche del buque maldito, subtitled Ghost Ship of the Blind Dead after the Spanish horror films, is the other.

It arrived two albums before the end. The band formed in Coventry in 1989 and finished in 2013 with The Last Spire, which makes this a remix of a record thirty seven years younger than the band and sixteen years old itself. Rise Above carried those last records and is carrying this one.

Putting a new title on a remix rather than calling it a remaster is the honest part of the announcement: a rethink is what Rise Above says it is, and nothing in the tracklist has been added, cut or reordered.
