Cirith Ungol have announced their seventh full-length, "All the Shadows", for release on 30 October 2026 through No Remorse Records. The title track is out now as a lyric video and is the first taste of the record.
The album has eight songs: "All the Shadows", "This Mortal Stain", "Turning Blind", "Shallow Reflection", "Empty Tomb", "On Broken Wings", "Hollow Nimbus" and "Venus in Thirds". It was recorded at The Captains Quarters in Ventura, California, engineered, mixed and mastered by Armand John Anthony, and produced by the band with Anthony. Jarvis Leatherby is credited as executive producer. The cover art is by Michael Whelan.
Drummer Robert Garven calls the single "a crushing opening to the album, forged by the Masters of the Pit". Vocalist Tim Baker describes the record as "the latest step along the twisted journey that defines Cirith Ungol", with themes of "blackened hearts and broken dreams" and "man's dystopian future laid bare".
The lineup is Tim Baker on vocals, Armand John Anthony on guitars, Jarvis Leatherby on bass and Robert Garven on drums. Pre-orders, including limited vinyl and CD editions, are open at the label's site. The band had announced their final shows in 2024 before returning to the studio.
