Converge have booked their first Australian tour in eight years, six nights in March 2027 with two more in New Zealand after them.
It opens at The Rechabite in Perth on 11 March and moves to Lion Arts in Adelaide on 12 March. The Melbourne stop is the one already announced, the first Lucidity Festival on 13 March with Jane Doe played in full for the record's twenty fifth anniversary, and the band stay in the city for a headline show at 170 Russell the following night. Sydney gets Factory Theatre on 17 March and Brisbane The Triffid on 18 March, then Meow Nui in Wellington on 20 March and the Powerstation in Auckland on 21 March.
Support on selected nights comes from Extortion, Ends In Tragedy, Portrayal Of Guilt and Wiegedood. For Portrayal Of Guilt it is a first Australian tour.
That support list is worth reading twice. Extortion are a local grind band, Wiegedood come from Belgium and Portrayal Of Guilt from Texas, so a single run is paying to move three different scenes across the same stages. Australian promoters have spent years being told that kind of bill cannot be afforded.
Presale opens on Monday 9 November at ten in the morning local time, with general sale on Wednesday 11 November at the same hour.
