Coroner begin the first leg of Dissonance over Europe tomorrow, 24 September, at the Noumatrouff in Mulhouse. Schizophrenia and Tar Pond are on the bill.
Tar Pond are the interesting addition. The Swiss doom band will play songs from Petrol, their most recent album, and say they intend to test material from the next one on the road rather than in a studio, which is the older way of doing it and the riskier one.
The run also puts Marky Edelmann back on a stage. Three Swiss bands on one poster crossing Europe together is not a coincidence either: the scene there is small enough that everybody has played with everybody, and this is what that looks like when it is organised.
