Hammerheart Records have released Age of Darkness, the first song from Dark Fate by Critical Fear. Metal Storm puts the album on 11 December, on the same label.
This is old school thrash played the way Brazil has played it since the eighties, which is to say faster than the Bay Area ever did and with the production left rough on purpose. The band come from Iracemapolis in Sao Paulo state, formed in 2008, and have taken their time: Conflicts in 2011, then eleven years to A Real Danger in 2022, and four more to this one.
Signing to Hammerheart is the first time a label of that size has been behind them.
