Crystal Throne release Chantry of Sacrifice on 2 October, and have put out Electrical Savior from it after Children of the Ruins.
It is a concept album and the concept does not do things by halves. The year is 5150. Hÿldr, a war veteran who ran a scientific project, wakes to find that Earth has vanished and that she is the last human being in the universe. She is sent back through time to find the cause and change it. Electrical Savior sits at the turn of that story.
Nine tracks: A Hero's Call, Children Of The Ruins, Tides Of Ages, Electrical Savior, Walls Of Silent Mourn, Antagonists, Insurgent Outcry, Chantry Of Sacrifice and Sleeping In The Void.
The band formed in Metz in 2019 and name Queensrÿche, Crimson Glory, Judas Priest and Symphony X as what they were aiming at. Live they add neon, smoke and lasers, which is consistent with everything else here.
