Deafheaven and Bosse-de-Nage will reissue the split they shared in 2012, remixed and remastered, through The Flenser on 27 November.
Jack Shirley of Atomic Garden, who recorded most of what Deafheaven made in that era, has remixed "Punk Rock / Cody". Richard Chowenhill of Agriculture took Bosse-de-Nage's "A Mimesis of Purpose".
Bosse-de-Nage remember the first time they saw the other band: "Their performance was amazing; it was clear right away that they were a force to be reckoned with." The split came out the year before Sunbather, which is to say at the last moment when either band could have been described as local.
