Decision have released "The New World Order" as a single and a video, from Chaos, which Gio Smet Records put out on 6 November. The band play the album release show the same night, at the DVG Club in Kortrijk with Phoenix Rebellion and Beta.
This is a first album after three singles in 2023, which is a long gap for a band at this stage and suggests the record was being written rather than assembled. Ten songs, from "Down and Below" to "Above and Beyond", with "The New World Order" sitting eighth.
"With Chaos, we're finally releasing our sound upon you," the band said. "It is a statement upon the world and the current socio-economic challenges, which we're facing with mankind as a whole. Do not rest, until your voice is heard."
They come from Kortrijk and name Metallica and Avenged Sevenfold among what shaped them, which places them closer to the modern end of thrash than to the Belgian underground around them. The lyrics run on the same argument as the title.
