Disma have signed to Hells Headbangers, and the deal covers more than the record everyone has been waiting for. Exitum Profundus, nine tracks and over an hour long, arrives in the first half of 2027. The label is also reissuing the band's back catalogue across all formats.

The arithmetic is the story. Towards the Megalith came out in 2011 and has kept an underground audience fed on two EPs ever since, which is fifteen years of a reputation built on one album. A label taking that on now is buying a catalogue whose demand has never been tested at scale, and reissuing it alongside a new record is how you find out what the demand actually is.

The band formed in 2005 around Craig Pillard, whose voice is on the first two Incantation albums, and they have always worked at the slow, thick end of death metal. Hells Headbangers name early Celtic Frost and Winter as the reference points, which is as much a market position as a description.

Ola Larsson is doing the cover again. No date and no titles yet, just a line from the band: "Prepare for immense ruin and annihilation. The war has begun."
