Dominion have released the first song from Mortification of Thy Flesh, their debut album, which Sinistrari Records puts out on 12 October.
The New Hampshire band began in 2019, when guitarist and vocalist Uncle Sadism and bassist Ogre set out against the direction contemporary death metal was taking and looked instead at the most primitive end of the genre. Drummer Flagellator joined in 2022, and a second bassist, Noctis, followed, which is how the band ended up with two of them and the low end that comes with it.
Their four-track Evil Control EP came out through the same label in October 2024. The drummer on the album is Claytanas, who joined afterwards.
The nine tracks were recorded at Witch House Studios in Groton, Massachusetts, in November 2025.
