Domkraft have put out Eclipse (Outlast the Night), the next song from Night Songs, their fifth album, due on 20 November.
"This is one of the cleanest, most airy songs we have ever written, yet it still brings decent heft, groove and some melancholy, with a kind of punch-drunk feel," said bassist and singer Martin Wegeland. "It is the sense of fighting to stay awake, trying to battle back sleep and be there for the sunrise, and all that happens in your head while doing so."
The staying awake is not only a figure of speech. Guitarist Martin Widholm went through a medical crisis in 2025 and several complicated operations, and the band wrote most of the record while he was recovering. Seven songs: Unnamed, Lights On, Aurora, Void Runner, Eclipse (Outlast the Night), Dead Rocket and Tunnels.
