Dragonfly release the Laberinto EP tomorrow, 2 October, through Art Gates Records. Five tracks: Laberinto, Cuando el cielo calla, Renacer, La bestia en mi interior, and Un beso y una flor.
That last one is the Nino Bravo song, which in Spanish speaking countries is roughly what a Roy Orbison ballad is in English, and taking it into heavy metal is a bolder move than covering another metal band would be. Art Gates have put out a video for the title track, and Laberinto and Renacer were both released before the EP.
There are several bands called Dragonfly and this is the one from Buenos Aires, formed in 2000, with nine records behind it. Not the German, Dutch or British one.
