DragonForce have booked a twenty two date European headline tour for spring 2027. It opens in Paris on 9 April and runs to 8 May, with Visions of Atlantis and Wings of Steel as special guests, and takes in Helsinki's House of Culture on 23 April.
It carries two things at once. The first is the self titled tenth album, out 19 March 2027 through Napalm Records, produced by Jens Bogren and recorded across the United States, Britain, Canada and Sweden, with the lead single Hunger of The Beast due its live debut. The second is Inhuman Rampage, which turned twenty in 2026 and gets its own set inside the show.
“We are so excited to be able to play both our new songs and a special Inhuman Rampage set in Europe,” Herman Li said. “This is a new era for the band.”
That new era has two singers in it. Alissa White-Gluz and Alessio Garavello share the front, on the record and live. “I'm thrilled to be back in my usual stomping ground,” White-Gluz said. Marc Hudson, who sang for the band from 2011, is stepping back for now with tinnitus. Herman Li and Sam Totman play guitars, Billy Wilkins the rhythm, Alicia Vigil bass and Gee Anzalone drums. General sale opens on 30 September.
